Levers for rear windows - 3dr - 1 doesn't work

Postby EvilChap » Sun Oct 11, 2009 9:33 am

Any of you clever people know how the rear windows work on the 3dr?

1 Passenger side on works fine. It's about the coolest thing in the world...

The drivers side on doesn't work :( It holds it closed OK, but wont push it open. How can I fix this?

Thanks!

Sounds like a sticky cable/mechanism. There's a cable adjuster behind the C pillar trim panel, but it may well be that the mech itself (at the rear of the window) may be a bit stiff. There's lots of posts on this (so do a search as suggested above) and Eyebrows did a great bodge fix.

I went through the common faults and tech section but I guess it hasn't been asked in a while :(

Will have it sorted today I reckon!
