I don't mean to put you on a further downer Andy, but what's the bets that you're actually going to be happy with the result of this new work?

good news :)

car is back home again and in the garage

as much as i like to clean cars, this time i'm going to leave it to the professionals for a full exterior and interior detail

also have a couple of aesthetic issues, to rectify ;)

will post pics later

so, as much as i thought it was a good idea at the time, and it looked good. i have now changed my mind about the samco hoses

i have now sourced genuine coolant hoses, so i will fit them to make the engine bay more original and colour co-ordinated :)

i've also bought a a new fan switch, to fit

biggest job i have left to do, is try and rewire the stereo loom to o/e standard (red multi-plug), and fit the o/e clarion head unit that i bought last year (even came with original card with code on :D )

all hoses changed to o/e new items (samcos are for sale if anyones interested ;) )

fresh coolant back in system, and new rad switch fitted

black beauty is not at home at mo, because she has gone away for a full detail.

leather will be re-coloured, and the rest of the interior will be cleaned. as will the engine bay

exterior wil get a machine polish

will post up pics when the car is back ;)

You've done all this work and you're just going to "try" and do this...bugger me even I did it, i'm sure you'll manage fine haha.

Wise choice on the coolant hose change :)
