LOOKING VERY CLEAN BUD.
how low are you going with the suspension in my honest opinion 309s dont suit a massive drop,
maybe a notch at the rear and 40mm springs on the front,
mine is on 40s at front, and i have yet to dop it a notch on the rear,as it looks like a bit weird at the min,
whats the rims you gonna be putting on ?

I`m going to make up a set of coil overs for the front and run 300lb 8inch 2 1/4 springs at front back end unsure I`ve had 6 6inch blocks in boot it looked cool lol wheels im going 7x13 rear 6x13 front compomotives, mot runs out Oct so now looking at a winter project, might look at a engine transplant whats the most common engine transplant? ;)

Update on my project I`ve washed it lol, but seriously I`m enjoying driving it as is at moment, draws a lot of attention at the local shops as is, not sure if to keep as standard or do a sleeper engine swap

Even on the standard wheels and tyres lowering it will make a big difference to the look , shorter front coils are fairly easy to fit . Its also the ideal time to check for rust inside the top of the front turrets and repaint if necessary . The rear beam is a bit more involved to modify but as long as the torsion bars are not seized it can be done cheaply .
Try some 'back to black' on the bumpers or read up about using a heat gun on them .

would advise not to go to low due to rear riding on bumpstops, and sometimes issues with front brakelines

personally, i'd go for approx -30 all round and a set of banded steel wheels ;)
