How to remove the fuel filler hose?

Postby -V8- » Sat Jun 16, 2018 1:07 am

Hello, I have a problem that I have been dragging for some time with my 309 GTI, if there is an owner that has been the same, I hope you can help me.

The meeting between the fuel intake and the body of the car, when it rains, the water is filtered in a considerable way, what causes the inside of the trunk to get wet. In the images you can see where the water enters, there is a thread of dirt that shows where it is filtering.

How can I dismantle that meeting to clean it and change the seal so that the water does not continue to enter?

I tried to disassemble the fuel filler hose, I removed the screws above and the nut that goes down but I could not get it out.

Sorry if my English is not very good, I am from Chile and here there are very few 309 gti, and it is difficult to get information about these issues.

I hope you can help me, thank you very much.
