hissing coming from dash

hi giyse dont know if this is in the right section but in new to all this iv got a loverly old girl and all is good but today whallst cloking up the miles she started to hiss loudly from inside coming from the drivers side footwell and the nose stops when iv totaly compress the brake pedal or when im accelerating hard no idear what this is can you help?

Only thing i could think it would be is the servo pipe
For the brakes..or something a bit more bizzare like a bung missing or letting in air from engine bay.
Strange one that.

If you have a sunroof there is a vacuum reservoir under the scuttle trim by the windscreen wipers .These can split or a hose could have come undone .Hard to think what else it could be .

Sounds like the main seal on your servo has went. I have done a couple of servo's 205,s and 309,s for this back in the day.
